Girls U-15 on their way to Orlando
The CONCACAF Girls U-15 Championship will take place from August 9-21 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex located in the Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. A total of 23 squads – 22 from CONCACAF and South American invitee Venezuela – will compete through August 21 in a tournament that crowns a champion, but places more emphasis on player development and experience. The field has been divided into three groups of five teams and two groups of four teams. The games are 70 minutes each.
The Curacao team is placed in group D with Barbados, US Virgin Islands, and Anguilla.
Thursday August 11 - Curacao v Anguilla, 11:00 am
Friday August 12 - US Virgin Islands v Curacao, 9:00 am
Sunday August 14 - Curacao v Barbados, 9:00 am
All of the group winners, plus the second-place finishers from the five-team groups, will advance to the quarterfinals which will be played on Wednesday August 17.
