Clubs meet for CONCACAF Club Licensing Info Session
The CONCACAF organization is intensifying its efforts to introduce a system for club licensing for her Caribbean and Mid-American member associations. CONCACAF's Mr Andres Portobello visited Curacao to inform the clubs of the First, Second and Third Division about the requirements of club licensing.
The introduction of club licensing of course is a step-by-step process and Mr Portobello explained the steps to be taken for the clubs to fulfill the requirements for a license for the next season. For the first year,the requirements will not be hard to meet but every year, more requirements must be met. The intention is to stimulate the improvement of federation football on all levels and all disciplines. The federation of course has to provide the clubs with support and advice regarding the completion of the application for a club license and provide the neccessary workshops and courses on a regular basis.
