Curacao U-17 qualifies for next round caribbean Qualifiers

The team traveled to Guadeloupe to participate in the Caribbean Qualifiers for the U-17 World Cup 2017. In the first round Curacao was matched to host Guadeloupe, the Dominican Republic and St Marten.
The first match against the Dominican Republic was won 4 against 2 with goals by Nathan Bernadina (2x), Luchenthly Vrutaal and Angérick Dorothea. In the second match against St Marten the Curacao team scored ten goals and kept their sheet clean - 10 to 0.  Goals by Nathan Bernadina (4x), Shurendric Fransinet (4x), Luchenthly Vrutaal  and Richajier Oleana.
In the last match Curacao played against host Guadeloupe. The Guadeloupe team also won her first two games and proved to be a strong opponent. The match ended in a draw 0-0.
Based on the goal saldo Curacao ended up on the first place of the group.
Next round of the qualifications will be played in September in Trinidad & Tobago.
