CSA U-11 wins Internationaal ABCS-tournament U-11

Sunday June 29 the finals of the Third International ABCS U-11 tournament were played at the brand-new Vesta artificial turf in the Jo Mathilda Stadium. Curacao, represented by Curacao Soccer Academy (CSA) U-11 selection had reached the finals ‘invictus’ and faced the Surinam Youth Champion team Puwanani. Puwanani again fought until the last minute but had to accept Curacao Soccer Academy as the better team: 3-1.

Aruba ended third place, and the Excellence/Willemstad Combi (who replaced Bonaire at the last minute) ended fourth.

It is great to see how the U-11 selection of CSA has developed. The team trains three times a week, already for two years under the guidance of Hans van Elden and his team. The result is a confident and fast combining team with very dangerous strikers.
