National selection Futsal qualifies for 2016 CONCACAF championship
The Curacao Futsal selection also won their third match against Trinidad & Tobago in Group 1 of the Caribbean Qualifiers. The match ended in 3-2 with goals from Ashar Benardus and Jean Pauletta (2x). 
Host Cuba also qualified for the finals after defeating Jamaica 5 – 1 in Group 2. Curacao and Cuba advance to the finals and Trinidad & Tobago will battle Guadeloupe for the half spot into the CONCACAF finals.

The final of the CFU Caribbean Qualifier is set for Tuesday 26 of January. Both group winners have already qualified for the 2016 CONCACAF Futsal Championship in May in Costa Rica. The CONCACAF event will double as the region’s qualifier for the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia.
