Curacao continues into final round Caribbean Cup

It was nerve-breaking until the last minute – the national selection of Curacao HAD to win over Guadeloupe to make it into the final round of the Caribbean Cup. Martinique beat St. Vincent and the Grenadines 4-3 and thus kept the road to the final round open for Curacao. It was only in the extra time that Vidarell Merencia scored the only goal in the match and, shattering Guadeloupe’s hope, pushed Curacao into the next and final round.
