Preparations for Curacao-Cuba in full swing

One month to go for the second Round WC 2018 Qualifying matches!  The first of the set of home and away matches of Curacao against Cuba will take place on June 10 – 20.00 hours in the Ergilio Hato Stadium in Curacao, followed by the return in Havana, Cuba on June 14.

In preparation of this all-important match (it is still a knock-out phase, winner takes all and continues into the next round, which is a group phase), the Curacao national selection will come together in the Netherlands for a short training camp and friendly match against the Surinam national selection on May 20 in the Almere City FC Stadium in Almere.  A friendly match in the Netherlands is a great opportunity for the technical staff of course, but also a chance for the large Antillean and Surinam population in the Netherlands to enjoy a match of their national selection.

On June 1 the players and staff will travel to Curacao.
