Kickoff ABCS U-11 tournament tonight Friday 27!

And finally it is time for our littlest champs to show what they are worth in the U-11 ABCS tournament opening tonight!

ABCS stands for Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Suriname and the participating parties are all in different manners historically related to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the friendly ABCS tournaments for different age categories are a longstanding tradition.

Curacao will be represented by the U-11 selection of Curacao Soccer Academy, the talent development program for youth football players, a joint project of Fundashon Bon Intenshon and FFK. The first two editions of the ABCS tournament were both won by Curacao Soccer Academy. Regretfully Bonaire at the last moment decided not to come over, but luckily the U-11 Curacao Youth champion Excellence and sub-champion have teamed up and will participate as Excellence/Willemstad Combination.

Tonight at 17.30 is the kickoff of the tournament at the FFK Stadium. The participating teams will play three matches in the pool phase of the tournament and continue into the finals on Sunday June 29. The finals will be played a the brand new Vesta artificial turf – during the opening weekend of the renewed facilities of this club. Be welcome!
