Congratulations Youth Champions!
Excellence, Willemstad and Scherpenheuvel are the winners of the 5 categories of Youth Competition. Saturday June 21st the FFK Stadium was filled with exited youth players all eager to take home a trophy. Encouraged by supporters and parents all teams battled hard for the title of Curacao Youth Champion 2014.

In the first match, the U-11 final, none of the teams managed to score a goal and the extra time was almost done when in the last minute Excellence scored the winning goal!
In the U-13 final Excellence controlled the match and finished with 5-2 advantage.
In the U-15 final again a team Excellence against Willemstad. Excellence U-15 had not lost a match this season but faces 3 suspensions in the defense – Willemstad scored the 1-0 out of a free kick and it took Excellence a while to score the equalizer. Excellence’s joy was short-lived as Willemstad immediately countered for the 2-1 and did not hesitate to consolidate the advantage: 5-1.
The U-17 and U-20 finals had dramatic scores: Scherpenheuvel-Atletiko Salina seemed to end in a draw but in extra time Scherpenheuvel managed to score 6-1. Jong Holland faced a half-time 5-0 against Willemstad, managed to fight back to 5-4 but did not make it after all.
